Painted gameboard with beautiful surfaces and very unusual but beautifully contrasting color palette. Holes on reverse for a solitaire peg game. Surrounding moldings applied with square nails. Alhat visible in the photos, is an inscription on the reverse which reads on three lines “(something illegible) – Maple Wood – Mass”.

19th century tinsmith-made anniversary-ware top hat with finely attended details: cut and folded bow, embossed edge around tapored ribbon, and a turned outside edge around the entire brim. Found in Delaware County, New York.
An unusual rug with abstract red swirls on a charcoal grey to black ground. Of course all hand-hooked on burlap. Bound around edges on bakeside with twill tape. Some minor spotting is visible on a few of the red swirls (pictured in third image).
