Single Irish Chain Quilt

This is a circa 1960s version of an otherwise popular early American pattern (according to Brackman, circa 1814).

I personally love the pop color choices that otherwise comprise the pattern here and appreciate the extra consideration that went into the alternating positioning of cyan and magenta cotton and cotton-blend squares.

Hand-sewn and quilted. Binding appears to be machine-stitched.

Condition

Wear and condition as expected with age. Some areas of residual moisture staining. Toning along fold lines.
