Parian Porcelain Bust of Apollo

Parian bust of Apollo originally modeled after a marble sculpture by Delpech (original in British Museum) and probably produced by Copeland circa 1860. Delpech’s bust was apparently also a copy of an antiquarian (Greek or Roman) bust in the collection of the Vatican.

Head turned right and fabric slung over the right shoulder and pinned on the left.

Missing its original plinth.
