Fantastic pair of tall and slender, machinist-made, lathe-turned brass candlestick holders with circular sheet bases and disc-shaped feet attached with custom-shaped nuts.
Household objects like these were essentially the product of machinists showing off their skills and never mass-produced. Aesthetics were also obviously valued, but some makers were clearly more talented and/or adventurous in their undertakings.
Wear and condition as expected with age.
