Pair of Machinist-Made Brass Candlestick Holders

Fantastic pair of tall and slender, machinist-made, lathe-turned brass candlestick holders with circular sheet bases and disc-shaped feet attached with custom-shaped nuts.

Household objects like these were essentially the product of machinists showing off their skills and never mass produced. Aesthetics were also obviously valued, but some makers were clearly more talented and/or adventurous in their undertakings.
