Pair of three-layer Eastlake style picture frames.
Outermost moldings are decorated in black and yellow tigered motif. Middle moldings are decorated in red-brown tortoise style. Liners have been overpainted in now dull gold.
Circa 1870s.
Wear and condition as expected with age. Recolored ding on outside of short side as pictured.
