A wonderful, brigthly-colored, pieced basket pattern quilt.
The basket blocks combine bright green and raspberry-colored printed fabrics set against white. These blocks are set on the bias and alternate with large blocks in a second printed red, the whole framed by a border of duller green patterned fabric.
Hand-quilted, with oak leaves stitched inside the body of each basket and clearly visible on the back, as shown.
Machine-stitched binding.
Maryland or Mid-Atlantic origin.
Washed. No visible wear. One light spot as shown.
