A fantastic Rococo style gilt bronze “Sinumbra” (without shadow) lamp retaining its original cut glass shade.
Judging from the type and state of the wire and plug that were removed from the lamp, I’d guess that it was electrified in the 1920s-30s. Newly rewired and working.
Unmarked. Possibly French.
