Black and Windsor Green painted gameboard from central Massachusetts. Constructed from two boards with a lap joint between. End boards are also black on outer edges and top with green inside.
Combination of earlier small square nails and later larger eliptical nails.
One board is split and there are a few places in which cracks have developed in the wood as it shrinks around the nails. One molding (left if viewed from front and pictured last above) is an old replacement and slightly shorter than the others.
