I started Blue Farm Antiques in 2004, nearly a decade before buying the building on Main Street in what was then a very sleepy Franklin, NY — hence a name that doesn’t quite match the address. Since opening there in 2014, the shop has grown into the space and evolved into something far cooler than anything I could have planned. These photos are a record of some of the folk art, quilts, early painted furniture and walls of picture frames that have long since gone to new homes.
