Early 19th Century New England Country Server

A classic New England country server with two drawers over two paneled doors opening to an interior shelf.

Retains most of its original surface with an appealing dark patina, and lighter-colored top having been scraped and revarnished at some point.

Case resting on tapered feet that transition into a “cupid’s bow” skirt at the front and swag skirts at the sides.

A fine example of early 19th-century rural craftsmanship.
